MDU was contracted to install an Integrated CCTV/SMS Access Control system with Photo ID Badging capability at The LEE, located at 133 Pitt Street in NYC. The new state-of-the-art facility was built by Common Ground and will be home to 262 residents, including adults with special needs and low-income working adults; 55 units will be reserved for young adults aging out of foster care and at risk of homelessness.
The CCTV system consists of 76 Vicon VC700 Fixed Vandal Proof Dome Cameras, (5) Vicon Kollector Strike 16 Channel DVR’s, (1) Floor Rack by Middle Atlantic, (1) Workstation (for the Manager’s office), a Virtual Matrix Controller for the Security desk, Networking switch gear, Power supplies and accessories. The Security Desk houses an Access Control Work Station, (3) 22″ color LCD Virtual Matrix Monitors, the elevator control monitor, and the Scan Shell Monitor.
